Welcome to the Bourgeois Pig® Catering & Event Planning Headquarters! Here you will find everything that you need to know in regards to event planning and catering for your next work meeting, party, book club, discussion group, class or coffee event.

Perhaps you are not aware that The Bourgeois Pig® has the ability to service a variety of your meeting and catering needs. It’s true! Not only are we able to accommodate any basic “coffee, tea & treats” event that you may have, but we can also deliver and set up trays of our delicious sandwiches, salads & fresh homemade baked goods, or even box lunches to any event, whether corporate or personal.

In addition, we have several rooms on our second floor that can be used for private or semi-private meetings & events.

For a modest fee your group can reserve either a private room or a semi-private room to hold the following types of events: meetings, parties, baby showers, bridal showers, book clubs, film clubs, classes, discussion groups, even small wedding receptions…you name it! We have hosted all of these types of events here at the Pig, and we would like you to consider our casual and comfortable, old time setting for your next event. We offer the following rooms, with the following amenities, at the following rates:

The Parlor Room: This beautiful second floor room, also known as “The Red Room”, is our only completely private room. It does have a glass paned French door that can be closed, but not locked, for private meetings & events.


This room features a working, period style gas fireplace, Persian carpets, two Victorian Sofas situated around the fireplace, an arm chair, a larger wood table that seats up to six persons, and four smaller tables that seat two persons each.

It is possible to remove the two sofas and replace them with tables and chairs if that better suits the needs of your group, though they do add a certain bit of period charm to the setting to be sure. This room has plenty of daytime light, with a large antique chandelier hanging in the middle of the room, and three large windows with southern exposure overlooking the upper patio and Fullerton
Avenue.

For nighttime use, the chandelier can be dimmed for a more romantic mood, or left on normally. This room may be a wee bit dim for nighttime uses requiring lots of light. The fireplace can indeed be used for warmth and ambiance in the colder months; the room is also centrally air conditioned and all three windows can be opened for fresh air if desired.

THIS ROOM SEATS A MAXIMUM OF 21 PEOPLE WITH THE ROOM AS IS INCLUDING SOFAS, AND APPROXIMATELY 26 PEOPLE WHEN SOFAS ARE REPLACED WITH TABLES.

$$$    This room rents for $75.00 per hour and does include group coffee & tea service in the room, OR one (1) free coffee or tea drink of choice available at the downstairs counter.

The Ol’ Bedroom:  This simple second floor room used to be the bedroom of the house, though you would never know it today. It is extremely haunted…um, just kidding, but it is said that someone did pass on from this room.

This room has always been used for general seating, though we sometimes use it as an art gallery as well. The walls of this room are a warm, billiard green, with walnut wainscoting, and beautiful crown molding, as have all the rooms. There is a long church pew, with tables, along the main wall that seats 8; and a charming old iron-based pub table, found in the house at the time of renovations,
that seats three in the window alcove. This room also has several other small tables for two, an oriental rug covering the floor, two windows to
the side of the house, one being the alcove; a single large antique crystal chandelier in the center of the room, and a beautiful antique wall clock
that does keep excellent time.

This room is an open C-shaped room and DOES NOT have a doorway or door. People will be walking past this room to go to the Parlor, or Red Room.

THIS ROOM COMFORTABLY SEATS 15 PEOPLE, THOUGH YOU COULD SQUEEZE 17 PEOPLE INTO THIS ROOM WITH A LITTLE FURNITURE JUGGLING.

$$$    This room rents for $50.00 per hour and does include group coffee & tea service in the room, or one (1) free coffee or tea drink of choice available at the downstairs counter.

The Study: This charming second floor room, also sometimes referred to as the Library, because of the two built in book cases found in the room, the warm green billiard colored walls, and the
abundance of natural walnut wood, is situated directly off of the top of the stairway, and people must pass by it to access the other upstairs rooms.


This room is situated near the upstairs restroom,
has one chandelier and one medium sized window that can be opened if the weather permits. This is an open C-shaped room and does NOT have a doorway or a door for privacy.

          THIS ROOM COMFORTABLY SEATS 6 TO 8 PEOPLE, THOUGH YOU COULD SQUEEZE 9-10 PEOPLE INTO THIS ROOM WITHOUT TOO MUCH TROUBLE.

$$$    This room rents for $30.00 per hour and does include group coffee & tea service in the room, or one (1) free coffee or tea drink of choice available at the downstairs counter.

The Entire Upstairs:  If desired, the entire upstairs of the Bourgeois Pig® Café is available for your group to use, whatever your event needs may be. This space has proven perfect in the past for use such as bridal showers, baby showers, meetings, receptions, holiday parties, art openings, etc.

Depending on the type of event and the amount of time desired, rates to rent out the entire upper floor would start at $175.00 per hour with a 3 hour minimum charge, with basic coffee & tea service included; anything else would be additional & negotiable.

THE 2ND FLOOR HAS A SEATING OCCUPANCY LIMIT OF 38 PEOPLE FOR ALL THREE ROOMS.

The Entire Restaurant:   If desired, the entire Bourgeois Pig® Café is available for your group to use, whatever your event needs may be. This space has proven perfect in the past for use such as church group outings, bus groups, bridal showers, baby showers, meetings, receptions, holiday parties, art openings, etc.

Depending on the type of event and the amount of time desired, rates to rent out the entire Bourgeois Pig® Cafe would start at $300.00 per hour witha 3 hour minimum charge, with an
open coffee & tea bar, including ALL coffee, tea or espresso based drinks. Any food or premium items would be additional, of course. As with anything, a
package price including all food or appetizers and drinks, is negotiable and based upon your selection.

THE 2ND FLOOR HAS A SEATING OCCUPANCY LIMIT OF 38 PEOPLE FOR ALL THREE ROOMS.
