Front of House: Barista/Cashier
The Front of House staff is responsible for day-to-day operation and management of the restaurant. Making gourmet coffee and tea drinks, greeting and welcoming guests, taking food and drink orders on our Toast POS system, running food or drinks to guests, restocking supplies, brewing drip coffee, making drinks on a La Marzocco espresso machine, and washing dishes used during the day are some of the main duties of this position. Some other tasks include putting away delivered supplies, breaking down boxes, taking out trash, organizing supplies and implements, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, though not often.
The work pace is at times brisk and stressful, especially during the morning rush hour and primary meal hours. Applicant must be able to manage their time optimally, while performing multiple tasks and handling the pressure of a busy restaurant. A seasoned, experienced person is preferred, though we are more than willing to train the right person. Good manners, a friendly smile, good people skills and a desire to give excellent service are required without fail.
Barista/Cashier wages start at $12.00/hour for non-management, plus a majority percentage of the cash tips and credit card tips made during your shift. Tips here are excellent. Additionally, all staff working shifts of 4.5 hours or more are welcome to enjoy a sandwich or salad free of charge. Additionally, all coffee and tea drinks are free to enjoy while working and discounts are available for everything on your off hours.

Back of the House: Sandwich Artisan/Cook
The Back of House staff are responsible for all operations in the kitchen. Making sandwiches, salads, appetizers, soup, and various breakfast items are some of the primary duties of the kitchen. Additionally, other kitchen tasks would include prepping for the next shift or next day, kitchen cleaning side work, sweeping, mopping, washing any kitchen dishes and cutting boards, slicing meat and cheese for sandwiches, and pre-portioning meats. Some other tasks include putting away delivered supplies, breaking down boxes, taking out trash, organizing supplies and implements, slicing & chopping vegetables, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, though not often.
The work pace is at times brisk and stressful during the primary meal hours. Applicant must be able to manage their time optimally, while performing multiple tasks and handling the pressure of a busy restaurant. A seasoned, experienced person is preferred, though we are more than willing to train the right person.
Kitchen wages start at $15.00/hour for applicants with little or no experience, plus a percentage of the cash tips and credit card tips made by Front of House sales, as well as a portion of tips from any catering jobs worked on. Wages for those with good and relevant kitchen experience is negotiable, and includes the same share of tips mentioned previously. Additionally, all staff working shifts of 4.5 hours or more are welcome to enjoy a sandwich or salad free of charge. Additionally, all coffee and tea drinks are free to enjoy while working and discounts are available for everything on your off hours.
